1. Greenix Village
Art meets Dance at this gorgeous locale situated a mere 8 km. from Ernakulam. Kerala’s traditional dance form is called Kathakali – it is practically revered in the state. 4. Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary
A veritable bird watcher’s dream come true, this sanctuary is certainly a must-see. Nestled in the heart of Kochi City and spread over 2.74 hectares, the place is home to several different species of migratory birds. Inside is a bio-rich spread of mangroves that enjoy 18-acres all to themselves. A shallow tidal lake is present inside the sanctuary. It stands surrounded by mangrove growth and links up to Kochi’s backwaters via a canal.
